Engineering drawing involves the visual representation of details regarding the construction, manufacturing or design subject by the engineer or inventor. These details need to be communicated to all involved in the design and manufacturing process. With the advent of Computer Aided Design tools (CAD), this communication has been made easier and more effective. CAD also allows easier modification, correction and enhancement of 2D engineering drawings.
