imos and CAD+T Scoped honestly, not sold as standard.

Work in these environments is taken on enquiry and scoped per project. They are less common in the markets we work in most, and we would rather scope honestly against your setup than describe a standard offer that does not exist.

How this works

Scope, environment access and working method are agreed per enquiry rather than assumed.

What does not change is the process. Work is drawn to your conventions, checked by someone other than the detailer who produced it, and reviewed by a named senior person before it reaches you, against a committed calendar date agreed at quoting.

Where your environment needs configuration or setup we do not provide, we will say so at the enquiry stage rather than after a project starts.

The output changes by environment; what it has to hold up against does not.

What we would need to know

Which environment and which version,
since configuration varies more between installations than between platforms.
What your setup already contains.
Libraries, templates and conventions differ per installation and they determine what is realistic.
What output you need.
Drawings, part data or both, and what happens downstream.
Who can answer a convention question.
For a less common environment, having someone reachable matters more than usual.

What we do not do

We do not configure, develop or extend these environments.
We do not write post-processors or G-code.
That stays with your programmer or your machine integrator, as in every environment.
We are not a reseller, partner or implementation consultancy for any platform.

Common questions

Do you work in imos or CAD+T?
Work in these environments is taken on enquiry and scoped per project rather than offered as a standard service. What is realistic depends on your specific installation and what it already contains.
Why is this different from your other platform pages?
Because it is honest to say so. Our established environments are documented on their own pages. These are scoped case by case, and describing them otherwise would suggest a standard workflow that does not exist.
Can you produce production output?
That depends on what your setup contains and what parameters you can supply. It is one of the first things established at enquiry.
What if you cannot work in our environment?
Then we will say so. A supplier who takes on an environment they cannot work in properly costs you more than one who declines.

Tell us the environment, the version and what your setup already contains

Scope follows from that.

  • Environment, version and installation confirmed before scoping
  • Committed calendar date agreed at quoting
  • We say plainly if we cannot work in your environment properly
  • One named contact, not a general queue
