Grade is the clause most often read as a label. It is not a label. It decides the substrate, the edge, the joint quality and the gap a reviewer will accept, and it decides them differently for surfaces nobody will ever see.
This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is stated plainly.
What detailing can do is make the obligations visible on the drawing, so the reviewer can verify them and the shop can price them.
