A supplier credential check on a detailing practice usually starts with the wrong question. The useful one is not which bodies the practice belongs to, but whether documentation is produced correctly against the standard a project names, and who carries the obligation when it is not.
Stated plainly, because a diligence reader will check.
No AWI, AWMAC, BWF or FIS membership. No quality programme registration. No compliance certification issued, and no certifying authority held under any programme.
The practice is not a fabricator, and the quality programmes attached to architectural woodwork certify fabricators. A detailing supplier cannot hold them on a fabricator's behalf, which is why this page states the position rather than working around it.
Work is detailed to the standard the project specification names, and what that standard requires is read from the document rather than assumed.
Four parties, and the practice is none of them.
Since no credential is held, the useful assurance is method rather than membership.
Every deliverable is checked by someone other than the person who produced it, then reviewed by a named senior reviewer before issue. Checking runs against the standard the specification names and against the conventions recorded for the account. First-pass approval is measured and reported per account.
