Junior Architect job description

As a Junior Architect / CAD Associate at BluEnt, you will develop detailed technical drawings, master plan sets, and construction documents for residential and commercial projects based on architect sketches and building codes. This role requires 1 to 3 years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, and a strong understanding of American drafting standards. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in elevations, sections, and site requirements while coordinating with team members to deliver precise, code-compliant architectural documentation.

Requirements

• Analyse building specifications, codes, and site requirements.
• Develop technical drawings from architects' sketches and specifications.
• Use CAD software and drafting tools to create and modify architectural documents.
• Prepare detailed and scaled plans for structures, foundations, and buildings based on provided data.
• Draft and refine layouts, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Ensure drawings comply with technical specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review engineering drawings and designs for accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Generate additional documentation as required for each project.
• Coordinate with other team members and oversee their drafting work when necessary.
