BluEnt Director Awarded The MRICS
New Delhi, July 24, 2009 : We are proud to announce that Mr. Ravi Khanna, director of BluEnt, was awarded the MRICS by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, UK. RICS is the leading organization for property, construction, land and related environmental issues. The RICS membership is awarded only to individuals who meet and maintain rigorous standards for public advantage.
Mr. Khanna’s role as a member is to offer advice on land, property, construction and related environmental issues, and to help set, maintain and regulate standards. This gives us the responsibility of incorporating our values into the AEC (Architectural, Engineering and Construction) and real estate practices. One of the main areas that Mr. Khanna (MRICS) and BluEnt have been addressing is transparency and value engineering in the affordable housing estate in India.
“The lack of coordination at the building or township design level, and dealing with consultants who have become factories and have standardized their designs and patterns, are some of the areas of concern that need to be addressed” notes Mr. Khanna. Spending time and energy on the construction documentation and design documentation stages of a project, and using BIM professionals to document every parameter of the building services, is the only way to deliver a successful and affordable housing project.
It is a great privilege to be associated with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and to share their goals such as:
Growing the profession
Protecting the consumer
